Physiotherapist

The Role:
Joining our Clinical Team as a Physiotherapist, you will provide therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including seniors, with the potential to provide brokered services to external stakeholders. Additionally, you will:

  • Provide evidence-based physiotherapy programs and services to enhance independence and quality of life for clients

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify functional capacity, strengths, and lifestyle goals, developing holistic, individualised therapy plans in partnership with clients, their carers, and the Albany Community Care team

  • Deliver programs that emphasise capacity building, restorative outcomes, and health ageing

  • Review and evaluate therapy plans regularly to ensure that goals are met, and quality of life is enhanced

  • Ensure compliance with professional standards, guidelines, and legislative requirements

  • Provide physiotherapy with a focus on restoring, improving, or maintaining your clients’ independent functioning and wellbeing. This may include mobility assessments, home exercise programs, prescription of walking aids, and falls prevention programs

  • Assist Allied Health staff and Care Providers in delivering exercise programs in the home, community, and our S.Age Therapy room

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant Degree qualifications in Physiotherapy

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Previous experience in the Aged Care sector is desirable but not essential

  • Able to build trusting, working relationships throughout the organisation to support a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer outcomes
