Physiotherapist
The Role:
Joining our Clinical Team as a Physiotherapist, you will provide therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including seniors, with the potential to provide brokered services to external stakeholders. Additionally, you will:
Provide evidence-based physiotherapy programs and services to enhance independence and quality of life for clients
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify functional capacity, strengths, and lifestyle goals, developing holistic, individualised therapy plans in partnership with clients, their carers, and the Albany Community Care team
Deliver programs that emphasise capacity building, restorative outcomes, and health ageing
Review and evaluate therapy plans regularly to ensure that goals are met, and quality of life is enhanced
Ensure compliance with professional standards, guidelines, and legislative requirements
Provide physiotherapy with a focus on restoring, improving, or maintaining your clients’ independent functioning and wellbeing. This may include mobility assessments, home exercise programs, prescription of walking aids, and falls prevention programs
Assist Allied Health staff and Care Providers in delivering exercise programs in the home, community, and our S.Age Therapy room
What We're Looking For:
Relevant Degree qualifications in Physiotherapy
Current AHPRA registration
Previous experience in the Aged Care sector is desirable but not essential
Able to build trusting, working relationships throughout the organisation to support a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong focus on customer outcomes
