Located along the beautiful south coast of Western Australia, Albany Community Care is a not-for-profit organisation devoted to improving the quality of life for seniors and their carers across the Great Southern Region. In recent years, we have experienced rapid growth and are now focused on further expanding our allied health services to meet the evolving needs of our community.
As we expand, we are looking for dynamic and driven allied health professionals to join our team and provide occupational therapy services, as well as assisting to develop new service lines, in-line with restorative care practices.

The Role:
Joining our Clinical Team as an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including seniors, with the potential to provide brokered services to external stakeholders. Additionally, you will;
Provide assessments and therapy services to support community access, enhance independence in activities of daily living, self-care, provision of assistive equipment and home modifications, cognitive assessment and support strategies, fine motor and upper limb skills within the home and community settings.
Ongoing evaluation and review of the customer's progress in line with their personal goals and plans
Develop and deliver therapy programs
Ensure appropriate consultation with relevant stakeholders
Maintain clinical records, client documentation and provide information and report on services delivered
Provide training to relevant staff regarding the use of mobility aids and equipment when required
What We're Looking For:
Relevant Degree qualifications in Occupational Therapy
Current AHPRA registration
Previous experience in the Aged Care sector is desirable but not essential
Able to build trusting, working relationships throughout the organisation to support a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with a strong focus on customer outcomes
