Occupational Therapist

The Role:
Joining our Clinical Team as an Occupational Therapist, you will provide therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including seniors, with the potential to provide brokered services to external stakeholders. Additionally, you will;

  • Provide assessments and therapy services to support community access, enhance independence in activities of daily living, self-care, provision of assistive equipment and home modifications, cognitive assessment and support strategies, fine motor and upper limb skills within the home and community settings.

  • Ongoing evaluation and review of the customer's progress in line with their personal goals and plans

  • Develop and deliver therapy programs

  • Ensure appropriate consultation with relevant stakeholders 

  • Maintain clinical records, client documentation and provide information and report on services delivered

  • Provide training to relevant staff regarding the use of mobility aids and equipment when required

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant Degree qualifications in Occupational Therapy

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Previous experience in the Aged Care sector is desirable but not essential

  • Able to build trusting, working relationships throughout the organisation to support a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with a strong focus on customer outcomes
