We support your health & wellness as you get older

Make a reservation for lunch at our Social & Wellness Centre to find out more.

Getting older is no barrier to having a good time!

Albany Community Care’s dedicated Social and Wellness Centre is a hub of entertainment and enjoyment. We cater to a wide variety of cultural interests, coordinating events and activities suggested by our diverse range of clients.

Our activities support social interaction and include outings, games, craft, reading, quizzes, music, and gentle exercise. A delightful morning and afternoon tea is served at the centre.

Weekday Lunch
Hot, homestyle, three-course meals are available in the hall on weekdays. Lunch is a great opportunity to socialise and have a chat with others without committing to a whole day’s activities.

Lunch is available to all members of the community, whether a client of ours or not, but bookings are essential!

We can support you with wellness services

Our dedicated Wellness Centre bolsters physical and mental strength, including balance. Supervised, small, relaxed group sessions are conducted in a quiet, inclusive space with stunning views over well-kept rose gardens and the Stirling Ranges. Specialised fitness equipment is provided to help you maintain fitness or aid in recovery, with gentle exercise programs created by your GP, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.

Group Outings
Our outings include fishing excursions, exploring and sightseeing, mystery tours, cinema visits, beach trips, coffee, mini golf, and more. These activities create opportunities to socialise, maintain confidence, and support independent living. Transport to and from the centre is provided if required, ensuring you can adventure out safely with supportive staff.
