About Us

Our Role

Albany Community Care Centre has historically responded to a demonstrated need in the community and implemented appropriate services and programs to meet that need.

Strong growth has been demonstrated over the last 20 years and ACCC has become an integral part of the network providing services to support people in the community.  This development and growth would not have been possible or successful without strong leadership and planning at a managerial and board level.

The organisation has implemented and reviewed Strategic Planning, Risk Management and Business Planning annually or as the need for change may arise.

In 2006 the lack of support for respite for carers was raised and identified as a priority need in the Great Southern.  The organisation has since embarked on a campaign to raise funds and build a respite centre.  The respite centre will be run in conjunction with existing services and offer carers time out.

Our Vision

The ongoing vision for the organisation is to continue to grow, offer and deliver quality services to all those wishing to remain living in the community setting of their choice.

Our future planning includes further developing and building social and financial responsibility to ensure our organisation is sustainable and continues to grow.

It is vital that we retain a local level of management to enable us to focus on local issues and not be directed by a metropolitan model of business or care.  To continue to do this we must work to ensure the long term sustainability of our business and independence from large corporate bodies.
